baby owl is a very friendly!This is not the only owl seen me! I saw one at a friends birthday party two years ago, though! not to say that my grandfather was a great hunter and hunt all feluld of animals: deer, wild boar and others including owls!

It is a Northern Saw Whet owl and is probably not a baby. It appears to have a band on its leg, so perhaps a scientist has banded it in the past to track it.

Saw Whet Owls live in very dense forests and rarely ever see people so when they do, they are often very "tame" and let people get very close. I hope this one went back out into the wild after the photo was taken so it could fill up on bugs and mice! :)
